Hot Wheels Formula E Gen3

The “Formula E Gen3” chassis has been used in the Formula E World Championship, the premier class for single-seat all-electric race cars, since the 2022-23 season. This chassis replaced the SRT05e, which had been in use since the 2018-19 season. As a spec series, all eleven teams utilize the same chassis, manufactured by Spark Racing Technologies, but are allowed to use different powertrains. The Gen3 cars produce between 402 to 478 horsepower, depending on the power setting, and have a theoretical top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph). They are equipped with a Williams Advanced Engineering battery, designed to enable flash-charging at rates of up to 600 kW, although this feature has been delayed due to technical issues. Alessandra Ciliberti led the project for Gen3 regulations, while Théophile Gouzin served as the technical director. The chassis is expected to be used until the 2026-27 season, giving it a lifespan of four years.
